2011 Volkswagen Passat Ecofuel claims that it only release

Volkswagen Passat Ecofuel claims that it only release 20 g of carbon dioxide each kilometer it travel. It sounds good but how good is this? Let me give you some idea: the average new car carbon dioxide emission is 176 g/km. So this Passat emits 1/9 amount of carbon dioxide compare to other average new car in UK. This sounds quite environmental friendly.

Although this is green and cool enough for me, Volkswagen takes it a step further by marketing this car with an innovative campaign - an iphone application.
The newly launched application allows comparison between human emission (breath) and Passat Ecofuel's emission. The application can be downloaded from the apple app store. check out the video to see how this thing works
